Interview with Dr. Lock #02

shima: Hi, Dr. From this issue we start to cover James Q&A sessions. How wonderful! We can read Q&A by the mysterious creator of WMM. James' answers are philosophical and sophisticated, and we feel his deep insight. And at the same time I was surprised at the great variety of questions coming from all over the world. I think we readers in WingMakers Forum performed a significant role to develop this information structure.

Dr: Yes. The Q&A sessions do provide an amazing amount of extra information that help us appreciate both the material and its Creator, and actually right across the spectrum of diverse subjects that the WMM brings up. I was surprised at how even what appeared to me to be silly or facetious questions were answered quite seriously leading to increased understanding. There is no doubt at all that the readers of the WingMakers forum and their questions played a very significant role in helping to develop this entire area of information.

shima: Although seven years have passed since this Q&A was released, it does not get old in informational quality, rather it gives us a lively tone to our lives today. In the response to questioners, James gradually reveals a cosmic teaching organization named Lyricus. How do you feel about his methodology of Q&A format for disclosure of information?

Dr: The Q&A sessions relate to spiritual truths, and the quest for same, as well as information relating to our unique and apparent vulnerable position in history. The spiritual matters covered are timeless and will remain of interest throughout the centuries until the distant time that we, as a species meet and become partners with the WMs.

The feelings of vulnerability relating to the more cloak and dagger and power plays or conspiratorial areas are likely to remain until the "watershed event/s" that James hints will occur to change the world's power structure and system, and our whole perception of ourselves as people within that structure. While the latter ? and some of the information contained within the Q&A sessions ? may only be relevant for this century and perhaps the beginning of the next, it is nevertheless of import until the very ending of the power structure within our civilization as we know it. So even that seems somewhat timeless to us, because generally we do not see beyond the present power structured system into that which will follow it, though there is no shortage of those who fantasize, and nearly always incorrectly, about what the next "system" (for want of a better word) will be.

The Q&A format of the Lyricus discourses representing the platform for introducing Lyricus and bringing its information to us is very revealing. Lyricus is a teaching order, and nearly all teaching systems ? the old Japanese teaching system being an interesting near exception ? work through a question and answer format. Even the old Japanese system of mere rote learning, however, which was really memorization rather than learning since students did little thinking themselves, would use the Q&A method to test learning, retention of knowledge and/or memorization of facts and material.

The transformation is a very personal experience, which is a major difference between it and the GP; and personal experience is best conveyed through personal dialog in which questions and answers become an essential part. Hence there has always been personal dialog between students or seekers and those who have experienced what the student or seeker seeks, be this spiritual, mental, or material. While the Buddha did give discourses he mostly travelled India just answering people's questions. Even proselytizing Christians work out programs of Q&A with which they engage potential new believers. They work much like salesmen, asking questions that are planned mostly to end in a "Yes" answer so you can't at the end say "No."

Q&A is the basis of all our knowledge. It is true that we may just remember the knowledge we are given but that knowledge only exists because someone initially asked questions and found the answers or knowledge. No questions; no answers; no knowledge.

It is also why and how I had my transformation. Because the answers, or knowledge, didn't exist I had to ask and answer questions for myself and everyone else in order to find out what the paintings were saying.

Look at all the things in your room or city, every one of those things: the desk, pens, papers, books, language, files, cupboards, air conditioner, buildings, machines, computer, and all their ancillary products exist because someone asked the question of what would be good to bring into existence and how to do it, and then they, perhaps assisted by others, found the answers to those questions. All knowledge and all civilization is founded upon answering questions.

The great English writer Rudyard Kipling once said, and wrote in the forward to one of his books words to the effect: "I have six great friends who have taught me all I know. They are who, why, what, when, where and how." Questions bring us everything we know. Every detective thriller somewhere asks and answers these questions. When they are answered the crime is solved. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett became the richest men in the world by asking and answering questions and then acting on the answers they had discovered. There is no field of endeavor that Q&A does not apply to and it is central to teaching. A lecture is easily forgotten ? assuming it's not slept through; but when we actively engage in questions and answers we remember because we are conscious of actually learning something and are active participants. When aural input is combined with activity ? even just the activity of a dialog ? we remember far better than when just listening because we are discovering for ourselves.

A teacher's function is to teach. S/he then has a natural tendency to answer questions, and enjoys the sharing of knowledge, especially when knowing it will be retained and of benefit. I am sure this is one reason why James responded to questions from the WingMakers' forum. How could he resist those sincere questions from people hungry to know more? He may have stopped answering them (or ours from Japan) only when they became more numerous than he could comfortably handle in the time he had available.

So to answer your question, shima, I think it is an excellent way to present the information. I particularly enjoy the mastery with which the Lyricus teacher continually questions the student which guides the student to finding the answers for himself. Rarely does the Lyricus teacher just give out answers or information. When any student, or anybody, finds answers for himself they really learn because it is their personal discovery and not just someone else's facts to be committed to memory.

shima: Regarding the term Tributary Zone. There is complementary information on this term in other sections (e.g. DVD introduction page), but I think this is an extremely confusing piece of terminology. Have you ever heard similar concept like TZ in other source except WMM? And could you talk about additional insight to this term, if there is any to be had?

Dr: I have never come across the actual term Tributary Zone before, though upon looking at the phrase we can see it is in English a very apt term.

The word zone has many meanings: it can relate to divisions of a planet between the tropics, the temperate and tropical zones e.g. and even divisions in the heavens. Probably most apt to the WMM is definitions 4 and 5 in Webster's "a region or area set off or characterized as distinct from surrounding or adjoining parts" and "one of the sections or divisions of an area or territory created for a particular purpose".

A tributary is a stream, or vein, feeding a larger stream, river, or vein. These tributaries seen from a distance appear as organic lines like the lines we often find within the WingMakers paintings and CG sometimes coming to or from higher realms, as in Chamber 12 painting. Tributaries lead somewhere bigger or greater and are part of a vital life support system, be it life giving water or life giving blood; or in the case of the WingMakers life enriching spirit and data streams.

When we look at what Tributary Zones are we see just how apt this term is. They are distinct and separate areas, different from the general localities where they are found, that serve both humanity and Lyricus a specific purpose. We are just looking at it, depending on one's direction of perception, in reverse, from the greater to the lower.

The planetary Tributary Zone is an area of spiritual, scientific and informational influence that is fed from the higher Galactic Tributary Zone which in turn is fed by the higher Lyricus Universe Tributary Zone. These are vital, living zones, of flowing data streams that house vibrant information and data to nourish, feed and inspire humanity to greater development and progress as a species. They are ever changing and interacting and so different from a museum where old relics are housed and just viewed. Here each greater tributary zone feeds the next stepped-down tributary zone with the nourishing life support data streams of information and inspiration that flow eternally to the planets and their populaces. While in practice only the planets' most evolved representatives will partake of the actual data stream content the whole populace of each planet will actually benefit.

Thanks, I need a drink!

shima: While James has laid major emphasis on the discovery of the Grand Portal, most lay people who lack knowledge on science, especially quantum physics, would feel a kind of frustration with this. In other words, we don't know what to do to help in the discovery of the GP. I assume it is the shortcut to let scientists' attention turn to this material. What can we who have realized the potentiality of WMM do to assist the scientific community and public in general?

Dr: It would really be presumptuous of me to assume to know the answer to this question for each of you. Each must decide this for self. Each has a unique path through life and each can only decide for self the road they must travel and how in that travelling they can or will help towards the discovery of the GP. I would urge you not to worry about this too much; if you are living your life in tune with the universe and living with the heart frequencies on a day to day basis to the best of your ability you are doing what you can, and what you came here to do. All else will follow.

Maybe it is your role to be having a conversation about the WMM when a stranger next to you just happens to overhear your curious conversation, goes home, looks up WingMakers on the Net and ends up years later making a profound scientific discovery leading towards the GP. In this case you would never know that you were greatly instrumental in assisting the discovery of the GP, yet your contribution may well have been stellar, as well as those who introduced you to the WMM. Or maybe in the future someone who looks in but never posts will read your simple online post somewhere that similarly triggers an interest or quest somewhere that leads to a profound discovery. Or perhaps it will just be a casual comment by someone you have talked to about the WMM that leads to that person talking to a scientist that then carries out significant research.

It is also fine to leave the science to scientists. Maybe the incoming scientists that will make the significant discoveries wonft need your help in any direct way. What more can you do if you are not a scientist? In my papers I have called upon scientists to research the areas of the brain and actually record the transformational experience so we have hard data to work with and prove what is actually happening, as well as calling on them to research and prove the existence of the spirit or soul. Will this have effect? I have no way of knowing. I published it in a university of arts, not sciences, so maybe no scientist will read those papers. Maybe it will pass by without notable effect. The important thing is I did want I could and that is all anyone can do.

More likely it is the cumulative effect of all interested and involved that will turn the tide of interests and investigation into discovering the GP. In that regard each one is important. We present the basic platform of interest, if not awareness, that the incoming scientists will stand on to perform their work. I'm reminded of when Genghis Khan held up an arrow before his newly assembled Mongol tribes and said, "One arrow is easily broken, but" he then puts it together with one from each of the other tribes making a bundle "together we are unbreakable." James has said the GP will be the discovery of literally millions of people working directly and indirectly towards that end. Each minor contribution is another step forward on the 1,000 mile journey which ends as it begins with one step, none being any more important than the other. Each person on the journey to the GP is as important as the other and each step as important as any other in the final journey.

Remember the ego is always looking for recognition, "I did this and that. I helped in this or that way." But all this is irrelevant. Just live in harmony and let things take their course.

Every great tree grows not from anything great, but just a tiny seed.

shima: Any special message?

Dr:The Japanese Q&A were probably not answered due to there being so many questions, and James being too busy to answer them, and his working on a new web site http://eventtemples.com. I'm sure he would have liked to answer the questions. Perhaps his inability to get to them was one factor in his deciding to give an interview with Mark Hempel that is now online in English. Any human can just get too busy to be able to do all they wish to, myself included. I have been so busy with university work this month that it has taken me a long time to get to answering shima's questions here. I therefore really appreciate your patience and understanding in waiting and hope you will not have to wait so long next time.

shima: Thank you for commenting.

Dr: I'm honored.
